Wedding Ceremonies in Reno
I believe that of everything that goes into your wedding to make it special, it will be the ceremony you remember most. However, whether you desire a spiritual, traditional, contemporary, civil, interfaith or a non-denominational religious wedding , your ceremony should not only reflect your beliefs and culture, but also a location that enhances this most important occasion!
Although Reno is traditionally known for its casinos and glitzy wedding chapels, Reno and the surrounding area also offers so much more. There are dozens of beautiful outdoor locations that lend themselves to beautiful weddings, and many of them are quite reasonable to rent. You may contact the Department of Parks and Services at renodirect@cityofreno.com or 775-334-2262 for general information. Some of the most memorable weddings I have officiated at have been small gatherings in a private home or back yard.
Whenever and wherever you are planning a Reno outdoor wedding, it is good to also have an alternate plan in place. High winds come up, uninvited, at the most inconvenient times, and have shattered the most beautiful of plans.
